This long-time friend and client chose this historic house for the extraordinary views from the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz. The property was turned into a modern residence for this family and their museum quality art collection. The goal was to simplify the structure in every way, from reducing the various room levels to streamlining architectural finishes and details. B.A.R. Architects designed a cantilevered limestone staircase with custom bronze railing as a central design feature. The Wiseman Group custom lighting and furniture are mixed with the client’s existing antiques.
